I\'m 51 years and I had pancreatitus about 9 months ago. I haven\'t had a drop of beer ( the only liquor I\'ve ever drank ) being a carpenter. I drank quite a bit of beer, 2 or 3 while I was working, and about a 12 pack on Sat. and 12 on Sunday. When my wife left me I drank beer for about a week and didn\'t eat. I was brought to the hospital and diagnosed with Pancreatitus. I also have panic disorder which I have self medicated since I was 16. About 9 months ago I started seeing a psychiatrist which gave me klonapin. I have a high tolerance to anxiety medication and pain pills. I\'ve woken up in the middle of back surgury. I had little effect with klonapin. So I went to a psychologist and I was told to just accept it. The phyical pain and fear is so hard to cope with that I want to start drinking again. I\'m a tough guy and you\'d never know it but I can\'t stand the pain anymore. When I\'m working my attention is very focused and I\'m ok. I was wondering how long it would take to die if I started drinking again. My blood test was ok in 1 to 2 weeks after the hospital. Liver was also. I need a clear time, please. Not a vague, your going to die. Thank You
