Goodness, just relax. Obviously \"these people\" are talking of gross salaries and not net income...it is evident by the types of conversations on the board. And as far as MD\'s, how much they make is determined by what they choose to specialize in. Obviousy during the internships, etc they are not paid as well, but as they further the career they are in charge of what they bring home - as I am sure you are a physician of some sort you will understand that this is the price of your career - the opportunity cost for the emdical profession is sacrifice and in the beginning, money.

Any health practicioner that is good at what they do and has (or has hired) even a slight business sense will be able to determine what it takes to practice. so take a deep breath and understand that these are all probably kids or people that are either entertainng the thought of becoming a doctor or are already in school and looking at their own maximum productivity - which should impress you because it means they ARE looking at the biz part of the job, hence the questions. So you see, even a triple Type A like myself and definitely you can understand that Gross Income is the subject.
