However I have not found any job to use this knowledge. I am a Registered Nurse who works with open heart patients. The surgeons frown on the use of alternative therapies. If you wish to open your own practice or health food store, the degree could be helpful. However unless you clearly state that you are not treating, diagnosing, or curing something, you could be sued for practicing medicine. I decided to go to a regular university for a master degree in nursing.
