The problem with the above logic is that one can easily apply it to M.D.\'s as well. I know someone who was recently told by one MD that she was going to need to have her adrenal glands removed dt high cortisol levels; she went to have a second opinion from another MD and was told that her cortisol levels were not high enough to be of concern. Both of these doctors were endocrinologists.Which one was right? Who ought we to trust then?
