I am 21 am was just diagnosed with pseudo tumor this past summer. I had the same symptoms as your son. For a while I was have spinal taps every three days. Now I am on a medication called Diamox. It drains fluid from your brain. It is working very well. There is also research that shows that heavier people are more likely to get this. So losing a little weight may or may not be an option. Also you should have is optic nerves checked by an Optamalogist M.D. If his optic nerves are swollen it can be causing these symptoms also. Beware though most doctors don't know what they are looking for because they have never heard of this. Hope this helps.
