guys, my friend and as her poa healthcare had vp and va shunts inserted last year...no problems whatsoever since... hydrocephalus developed after a rare autoimmune disorder CNSV...and after vp was inserted and not strong enough, they put the va in, she is doing great on prednisone, (no cytoxan) and living at home with a sitter at age 45 with both sons home with her. No shaving her head, saw no scars, and she doesnt complain of headaches or anything anymore...
