I would like to have a programable one, or at least one that we would know if has failed, because in took 6 months for the docs to diagonis my failure, topomas, diamox and still trying to be an accountant. I just had an lp, to check the pressure, the doctor said the headaches were because I was depressed..dahhhhh then finally he did an lp. And yep he felt pretty bad that they didnt listen to me that I said it had failed. I have heard horror storys about the brain shunt. You were a bright ray of hope. but how are you doing now?
