Posted by Sarah on 03/13/06 at 08:08 PMI began reducing my dose of Effexor over six months ago. Now, at the last stages, I am in more agony than ever. I have spent the evening reading other people\'s experiences in horror...but it has given me new belief that how I feel is all due to withdrawal from this powerful drug. Some good advice I found was to taper from 37.5 mg XR to 25mg regular, and then half that and then half that. I have gone to zero from 37.5 and until tonight felt there was no hope of recovery. I still don\'t know, but will continue trying. Best to all in this fight -
