Mary, THANK YOU!! First, let me say that effexor is THE WORST thing to ever come into MY life!! With that said, I feel it is important for someone having a good experience to post here. Especially for all of the other people who are still on this med with good results, but are considering going off because of the hell the rest of us are in! If effexor would have been effective in treating my depression I would have stayed on it! The reason I asked my doctor about it was because of the people that I know that are having amazing results! Some of them considered going off after seeing my hell. I told them that was crazy. From someone it didn\'t work for, to all of you out there on effexor and it is working for you...remember how you felt before and why you started this med. Would you go off of a med that is helping so much just to put yourself in a new hell??
