They said it should make the swelling go away in a few days and the infection go away. But you must follow up with a dentist. This is very important because my boyfriend had this and he did not follow up with a dentist and the infection spread through his entire body and he was in the hospital for 1 month and home on IV antibiotics for 6 weeks. SO PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THIS!!
