Re: effexor withdrawl DAY 3

I am in Hell!! Day 3 of being off of effexor...i\'ve gone off cold Turkey....I just can\'t put that poison into my body anymore. I have tried to wean off of the stuff and always end up taking the 150 dose again. No more!!! I\'ve gained 50 lbs in the last year and i am aways fatigued. Use to run marathons, now i can\'t even go for a walk; i am so lethargic....I was put on the pills because i couldn\'t get off paxil which had been prescribed for mild anxiety!!Hell looking back on it, I wasn\'t sick at all. Now I am sick...I have never been the same person since i was first put on anti-depressants, 10 years ago, after the birth of my daughter....My life has become totally debilitated as a result of being put on these medications....i could go on forever....someone should be held accountable for so much suffering...please give me some advice on getting through this...I just want to know I\'ll be myself again...thanks
