Re: Effexor Withdrawal

I had been on Effexor since I was fourteen. I am now twenty-two and, up until a week ago, a 4.0 student in one of the best computer-related-study universities accross the country.

I withdrew from this semester yesterday because of such extreme withdrawal symptoms from Effexor XR, which I stopped taking, completely, four weeks ago.

I have to admit, I am questioning whether I need to be medicated because of the severe symptoms I am experiencing: horrible mood, fatiuge, excitability, nervousness, etc. But I just don\'t remember any of the wierd sensations I am having \"pre-Effexor.\"

I am quite scared because I cannot afford to lose any more of my life to this, and, as many have mentioned, people are unaware of how serious and real these problems are. And I can\'t blame them--it really does sound odd.

Up until a month or so ago, many would say I had it all. But, now, I feel like I\'m slowly recovering from brain damage! So, if anyone that has been through this and regained their lives could reply, it would really help me to get through this because I can\'t explain myself to friends and family anymore without sounding nuts!

If this is a learning experience, I may just be the wisest person in America by the time I am through with it!

Thank you.
