Hey guys..My Dr. prescribed me effexor because of some general anxiety I was having, so thinking doctor knows best, I started taking the effexor. After about a month and a half I quit taking it because I felt as if my thought processes had been cleaned up and I was back to normal. Well, that\'s when my headaches and vertigo started up to a point that I would be sitting at work and I would feel as if i were on a boat, rocking aback and forth. Well, it is now about 7 weeks later and I still experience occasional sensations like the room is jumping and sharp pains in my head above my right temple. I think this medicine has messed with the chemistry in my brain and I am just trying to ride it out until I get back to normal. Effexor has been horrible for me. Good luck to you guys with feeling better and warn anyone that is thinking about taking Effexor about the side effectes...if I\'d known, there is no way I\'d have started on it.
