I weened off 37.5 mg per week until I got to 112.5 and I just could not put the devil in my mouth anymore, so I went cold turkey from there. the 1st 2 weeks were pure hell, then it eased up some, I am now on day 38 with out any effexor in me and today was a really bad day, but i just keep telling me self by christmas maybe I will feel better. This stuff is bad, the worst drug I have ever had to quite, I would love to sue my dr and wyeth the drug maker. good luck, it sucks and there aint no way around it, its a long haul, but it does get better, they say.
