I had withdrawal from Effexor also. I took 75 mg twice a day. hen I came off of it, I began by taking one every other day for 2 weeks. Then I took one 75 mg pill every three days for two weeks. Then one pill every 4 days for two weeks. When I got to 1 every 5 days, I couldn\'t so it. the morning of the fifth day my head whould be dizzy and it seemed like when I moved my eyes a certain way, I would become dis-oriented.I was afraid to even drive.I became nauseated and my head throbbed, I took a pill and I fely great in about 30 minutes. I got online and read about all the people who had withdrawals, and they couldn\'t stop them completely...it was easier to take the pill and make the withdrawals go away. I knew at that moment what it must feel like to try to break an illegal drug addiction. This went on for several weeks...on the fifth day, I took a pill. I finally decided that I would no longer allow this drug to control me, so I threw them in the trash. I made sure the trash man was coming that day, so I wouldn\'t go get them out of the trash. Those next 4 days were hell. nausea, headaches, vision blurred, that old familiar swooshing in my head. I felt dizzy and paniky a few times, but before the week was over the symptoms were gone. I will never get on Effexor again, and I am so furious with my doctor for putting me on something this dangerous. I wouldn\'t reccomend this drug to anyone. Good luck to you all.
