Posted by Devra on 04/28/05 at 08:05 AMThought I was the ONLY one with the \"inside my head/eye swooshing\" noises from Effexor withdrawal! I hate it! This is my 2nd withdrawal from Effexor - you think I would have learned my lesson the first time. But I\'m weaning off after a year of 150 mg, and I did everything by the book - down to 75, then to 37.5...now I\'m on day 3 of nothing and the swooshing is still bad. Yesterday it was worse - couldn\'t get out of bed, so I\'m hopeful that it\'ll get better. I will NEVER go back on Effexor XR again. I was on it to prevent muscle tension migranes - which it didn\'t! So please look for something else to go on for your depression/mood swings because this drug is just too crazy and powerful. When I tell people I can hear my eyeballs moving inside my head....well, you can only imagine....
