I am now going on 10 days post effexor. Was on 150mg for about a year. I wanted to get off this for awhile, but was told if I still feel ok don\'t mess with it!! (By my PA) Well we all know why now. I have had all the nightmarish withdrawal symptoms-a bit depressed at the moment, but this too shall pass (hopefully). My biggest fear is I will now get my brain back!! I get very confused, and have trouble following tasks that ordinarily are\'nt a big deal. I take 25mg of Benedryl at night-this really seems to help with the weird-ass sleep patterns. Lots of water, and exercise.
