Re: Effexor Withdrawal

For some background to anyone who cares:

I started smoking cannabis to help with my depression. But I wanted to find a legal way to be able to function and not have the added anxiety of the possibility of getting arrested. So I quit. The last couple of years I\'ve tried hard to find something that will work for me only to come to the conclusion that cannabis was far superior from what I remember. Towards the end I started eating/cooking with it also to cut down the negative effect of smoking. But even still smoking, though not the healthiest method, was an excellent way to administer the cannabinoids. It acts quicker and you can control the dosage better; taking puffs up until you feel sufficient effects.

I found this site looking to find out about effexor\'s withdrawal symptoms. The weird thing about this drug is I tapered down pretty well yet still have the unruly withdrawal symptoms.

Well, what doesn\'t kill you makes you stronger. And I\'m bucking down. And I know I\'ll make it. But crappy drugs like these don\'t make it any easier. I was up to 225mg\'s and I also want to say this gave me a pretty good perception into what it must feel like to be a crackhead, or at least how I think one must feel now. The side effects were unbearable and the withdrawals are even worse.

It seems to me that the doctors are currently no better than drug dealers for corporations.
