I have been on 75mg a day of effexor for about 2 years. I have gained weight since I\'ve been on it (about 15lbs in 2 years). I used to be very thin before going on it because I was so active and wired all of the time. I was prescribed effexor for stress/anxiety and minor depression. I don\'t know if the weight gain was from the effexor or just being more content and relaxed with life. I am going off of it because I am too tired all of the time. I now miss the energy that I used to have. I am told that 75mg/day is a fairly low dose. I am interested in knowing what sort of side effects you\'ve experienced as well as how long the effects last. Today was my first day off of it and I got a bad headache and felt a little loopy/dazed. This could have been something else but I have a feeling it is because I quit taking the effexor. Any thoughts?
