My name is AManda And I was searching websites to help me lose the weight I have gained whiole taking 7 yes 7 different meds for depression. Dont think any of them will help you lose weight. I found out they are have a certain steroid in them that triggers hunger and slows metabolism dramatically. I know b/c for the past HORRIBLE year of marriage due to a weight gain and behavior change. I use to be a size 5 I am now a size 13 :( I am very unhappy with myself since I am 20 yrs old 5ft2 and 150lbs not cool. I pray that we the victims of weight gain from depression meds will find a way to lose the weight we dont need.I know it was hard getting off my Paxil Cr but in the long run it was worth it I did have withdrawls and mood swing but not as far worse as I did while being on the meds. The depression meds dont help. Just know God didnt make you to be a person controlled by drugs b/c that is what they really are. Good luck and God bless.
