Boatsie, This is day 7 of Sinequan for me and I feel sooooo much better! The effexor could have given me permanent affects, I won\'t ever know now. I just couldn\'t wait it out any longer. It\'s possible that my depression and anxiety could have gotten worse over the years because instead of dealing with my issues, I relied on a drug. It\'s also possible that I still had some Effexor stored in my body releasing itself every now and then, thus starting the withdrawal process up all over again. This doesn\'t happen to everyone. I\'ve been in contact with 3 people who, after 2 1/2, 3 and 3 1/2 months have returned to their normal selves. On the other side of the token I\'ve read about people having withdrawal symptoms up to a year later! I think that is rare though. Dr. Maloney\'s website is very helpful. Feel free to email me if you\'d like. I\'ve had all sorts of strange symptoms and most have gone away. I will say that you should be very careful about starting a new anti depressant. I tried 2 that I took years ago successfully, only to have them give me adverse effects this time around. It could be the Effexor, again I won\'t ever know that. But stay strong and good luck to you.
