You are not alone. I was told by my doctor that effexor was good because there were no withdrawl symtoms. Although the highest dose I was on was 75mg, I too weaned myself off and suffered mostly from dizzyness and what I can only describe is this wierd wooshing sound that I would hear if I stood up too quickly. Now that I have been totally off for two months, I drift in and out of depression (not nearly as bad as before I went on the drug), and I almost always feel anxious. I have been tempted many times to call in for my refill, but I do not want to give up. Hope this helps. Your comments sure helped me feel that I wasn\'t alone. Good luck and God bless.
