Posted by Susan Dancy on 11/10/04 at 02:33 PMI VERY gradually weaned myself off Effexor (with my doctor\'s approval and monitoring) over 3 months and have been off completely for 2 weeks (but who\'s counting, right?) I have been surfing the Internet trying to find withdrawal symptoms because I don\'t know what is a side-effect of going off the drug, what my be depression returning, and what may be a physical illnes unrelated to effexor. I am spacey, my brain does a little whaa-whaa every once in awhile, I cry all the time, I cry when I watch a sad commerical, I cry when anyone says something nice to me. Today my ankles are swollen and my blodd pressure jumped up 30 points.
The worse it gets, the more determined I am to kick this drug.
