Hey , i\'ve been on effexor about 10 yrs. went off cold turkey 6 or 7 years ago, then got back on. any whoo when i went off the first time , i wrote it\'s not so bad just use benadryl. well know effexor hasn\'t been working for me as well as i need. so i\'m going to use cymbalta. i had to quit effexor for three days first. 600 mg\'s a day to 0 cold turkey. today the first day of cymbalta. well it as a trip straight to hell. the worst thing i have ever felt. my head spinning, crying, couldn\'t breath. i was dying, i wouldn\'t wish this on anyone. and i knew exactly what was going the whole time. wild , wild dreams(the only good part). if i hadn\'t been as strong and known as much about what was going on , i would have done \"something\". it was unbearable. i was ready to call 911 or. know i don\'t have any \"smart advice for anyone,\" just don\'t go cold turkey. don\'t quit, whatever,go to a hospital, it\'s o.k. . it\'s the people who don\'t think this world is all f\'d up that are crazy. please don\'t go off of effexor by yourself. John
