Posted by DONNA on 10/30/04 at 06:29 PMmy doctor gave me a protocol for an effexor taper lasting 6 wks the last week i was to take one 37.5 XR pill every other day then stop cold turkey!!! what a stupid inhumane insane withdrawal from a drug was this??? almost lost my job, my husband, my friends, my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER ALLOW YOUR DOC TO PRESCRIBE THIS SHIT AND IF YOU\'RE ALREADY HOOKED, NEVER ALLOW YOUR DOC TO HAVE YOU WITHDRAW COLD TURKEY.
