I had been on effexor for 3 years (300mg.) and I must tell you the withdral symptoms are nothing short of what I imagine hell to be. First there is the dizziness then the crying jags, sleeplessness and general irritablity. I never expected it to be this difficult. It took me 5 weeks to get off and I do not know how I am functioning.

I hope you take it slow.
