hi christopher, this is rene and what your going through right now is a very common thing when getting off of effexor. i quit taking it about six weeks ago and i went through the horrible withdrawal also. i\'m always very easy going but i felt like i could kill when i was going off this drug. my poor husband did\'nt know what to think! my dr. never told me about the withdrawal, i found out about it from searching the web. i really don\'t think it\'s the prozac causing these problems for you, it\'s the effexor. this will go away so try to hang in there. i hope the new med works for you. take care. rene
