Effexor Withdrawal = HELL

hey, i\'m so glad i found this board!! i am sick of getting the run around with docs who seem to think i should just stay on effexor, and i can\'t take it anymore!! i don\'t even think any meds have helped me much to be honest, and i\'ve been on effexor at varying dosages for over 3 years. i am diabetic and have very costly prescriptions, so i can\'t afford to keep getting this horrible effexor which hasn\'t helped anyway. i HATE that no docs seem to support my decisions or be my advocate.. ugh.

i\'m on day 5 of no effexor, yes cold turkey... and i\'m dying. hoping it will pass.. any suggestions?

i\'ve tried tapering numerous times and gave up and went back on. i feel like a junkie and don\'t want to give another cent to this drug company which is so incredibly terrible!!!
