Hi Andi, I feel as though we are right at the same place together. I have been off effexor for two weeks tomorrow. I too slowly weaned myself down for two months and after two weeks of 37.5 stopped right there. The first week was the hardest and I too threw away my pills the day I quit. I think you just have to stop at some point. You are going to have some withdrawals no matter what and if you keep taking a pill to stop them you will just have to start over. Anyhow I too am feeling much better but still have random symptoms here and there especially if I\'m outside in the heat for a while or working out. We will just have to hang in there together. At least we know we are past the worst and we can make it from here. Good luck to you and hope your symptoms are all gone soon.
