I have been through everything all of you have. Effexor XR for 12 months, gained weight, 25lbs which on my petite frame looks horrible. During that year though, the benefits of Effexor outweighed the weight gain but as my (mental problems)seem to get much better I wanted off of this drug. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!! Anyway, its been just over 1 month off Efexor, I month at the gym 3 days a week, rarely anything \"bad\" to eat and NOT LOST EVEN ONE POUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a huge problem for me.
