I stopped effexor 8 days ago(was taking 225 ml/day) cold turkey because my husband and I found out we were expecting. What should be the most exciting news in the world is now blurred by my painful withdrawal symptoms. The dr.\'s just say \"it\'ll get worse before it gets better\" blah, blah, blah and I am scared to death. You can imagine the effects of withdrawal mixed with the emotions of being newly pregnant and it is absolutely horrific. I have yet to hear from someone who can honestly say \"Don\'t worry, it will be okay\"
