I am in the process of going off effexor and will start on Cymbalta next week. I gained 30 pounds in 2 years and have severe reflux. I was taking effexor to control a vestibular balance problem I have due to multiple sclerosis. The effexor was working great for that problem but the weight gain is unacceptable!
