effexor=weight gain=heartburn??

ok, so i\'ve gained about 50 lbs in 2 years being on effexor. am slowly weaning off and can\'t wait to start getting rid of some of this weight. has anyone experienced heartburn/acid reflux since being on effexor? it is horrible! i never had it before but now it started about 4 months ago, need to talk to my doctor about it. just wanted to see if anyone else had this problem. thanks
