you are absolutely not crazy, i started on 150 mg and slowly tapered over 3 months and when i was down to 37.5 mg i started counting out the balls in the capsules until i was down to about 7 mg then i quit 3 days ago....doesn\'t seem to matter how low a dosage you get down to because the withdrawls still end up the same...your brain is having to start making the chemical that the effexor was supplying it with and i guess this takes time...i am taking benedryl and it helps some with the brain zaps and i also take a gravol when i get too nauseaus.....i cant eat because i feel so sick....i feel like i cant even put a sentence together...my vision is also really blurry and i dont even wear glasses....its all the withdrawls...we are in the same situation but i think if we can just hold on ....i know how hard it is, but we will eventually stop feeling this out of body crap....e-mail me if you like, its nice to know that maybe we can all help each other get through this...try to hold on and remember that its all the drug doing this...it isnt you. laura
