Effexor Withdrawl

I guess I have now joined the ranks of those trying to get off of Effexor. I guess I created my own problem, because when the Doctor forgot to call in the lower doss I was to start on, instead of following up, I decided to just do it cold turkey. It\'s been 8 days now and where I am not as bad off as the people I have just read about, I am having problems that must be associated with this withdrawl. I was on the .75 doss for the last 8 months. I now have a constant headache every day, I am constantly nauseous, and on top of that have an urgency to eat. The worst for me, is the nightmares. On the meds, I was tired all the time, my main reason for wanting off of them. Now that I\'m off, I can\'t sleep and when I do finally drift off, the nightmares stop and I have a terrible time waking up from these.

I\'m just hoping that these symptoms will stop very soon.

Thanks for listening.

Lisa
