This all started about 2 months ago. I\'d been on Effexor for 6 months. I decided to get off because it and other things were making my ED problem worse.At the time I had started with a new doctor who took me right off and on cymbalta.The next 5 days I got no sleep and had terrible dreams when I did sleep. We got off the cymbalta thinking that was the problem. That is when it started, the dizziness,seeing things out of the corner of my eye,the sounds in my head as I would move my eyes,terrible mood swings, total loss of appetite,slurred and slowed speech and many other too difficult to describe. We blamed it on an inner ear problem. After 3 weeks a catscan was done to check for a small stroke. Nothing showed,so I was sent to a neurologist.He ordered an MRI and later an MRA which is specific for the brains blood vesels. It shows what appears to be a small aneurysm in my brain. I\'m now having an angiogram performed to determine size. If it\'s too big I will have surgery done to clip it. While the way I taken off the Effexor was the wrong way,it may have been a blessing in disguise. My family has a history of this problem and I already have high blood pressure. To end this description of my last 8 weeks,I did think I was going crazy. Fortunately for me my work,family and doctors have been very understanding. While I was off work for almost 6 weeks for the withdrawals, now i will be off for another 3 weeksto determine if I need this surgery or not.
