Posted by Lisa on 01/05/05 at 08:03 PMI have been on different antidepressants for the past 10 years...currently have been taking Effexor for several years. I\'m now weaning myself off! I was taking 150 mg daily; I\'ve cut back to 75 mg daily - just doing that, the effects were rough!! Please do not quit cold turkey!! I have missed one dose before and experienced the \"shocks\", headaches and overall horrible feeling. My Dr. has said after 1 week of lowering to the 75 mg, I should then take it only every other day; I\'m afraid this may not be gradual enough.....any suggestions are appreciated!
