Hi there, I went through all the hell of getting off of that horrible drug Effexor myself and have finally started felling like myself again. I t took me about a month after stopping to completely feel good again. I also saw some info on this website and 5htp(a natural alternative to antidepressants) And I read the book The Mood Cure which explains this natural supplement as well as other. Effexor was the third drug I tried for my depression and mood swings and I was ready to try something non-drug related after the withdrawals of effexor. Anyhow I\'m telling you this because I\'ve been taking 100mg of the 5htp and 500mg of L-Tyrosine. I feel better than I can ever remember. I used to have to take a nap everyday and now I have energy all day long. I highly recommend ready this book and trying some of these supplements too if you are ready for a change. You must consult a Doctor first before taking any though. Both the supplements I take work just like an antidepressent does just without the side effects. I never knew there was anything out there like this and I\'m so happy with the results. The book also disscusses how to eat healthy fo good mood but I don\'t follow the strick eating plan I just try to eat as healthy as possible. The effexor made me gain a little weight and these supplements also help supress your appitite and I have already lost 5 pounds. You can get the 5htp at Walmart but as far as the L-Tyrosine, I can only find it at GNC but it\'s not expensive. If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me.
