I, too, had severe side effects, excruciating withdrawal symptoms and new health problems (high blood pressure, GI/stomach problems) which I am still suffering from today. Not only am I still awfully depressed, my husband left me for the 2nd & last time two months ago because of this whole depression episode, I am raising my 2 year old son on my own, can\'t work (disabled because of the depression), lost my entire family (avoid me like the plague), and so on. This drug has really messed my life, health and well being up. I am interested in joining the class action. Please note that I have been on numerous different medications in the past year to assist with recuperating from a major depressive episode (nervous breakdown), and Effexor is the only drug that has made me so ill and caused such health problems to me in as little as only being on it for 3 weeks and told to abruptly stop it by my psychiatrist (then he went on vacation and did not supplement me with any other antidepressant). It was really bad! From vertigo, vomiting, headaches, nausea, vision changes to flipping out, etc. And I know my then psychiatrist is also on the hook for what this did to me because of the way he left me hanging while he took a 3 week vacation and had not one back-up doctor covering for him! Please write back to advise. Suing the company will not make us \"better\" but it will sure feel pretty darn good!!!!
