The side-effects are horrible, I can\'t drive, my physician has abandoned me to suffer through this alone. Thank God, my pharmacist gave me an honest and informed opinion and has also stated to me that my physician\'s attitude toward this has been appalling.

I don\'t know what to do at this point, as I can\'t even drive myself to another drop-in clinic or even the E.R. This is a travesty in medical care.

I\'ve been on serotonin-adjusting meds since 1992 and on Effexor since approx. 3 years ago...about 14 years in all. My pharmacist assured me that after all these years, a withdrawal syndrome would certainly be forthcoming.

What should/can I do.
