I was prescribed Effexor XR by a doctor who talked to me for about two minutes, over two years ago. Now I deal with daily brain zaps and dizziness. This doctor made a snap decision about my treatment which could affect me for the duration of my life. I\'ve tried to wean off the drug, but have become so physically ill as to require time off work. I cannot currently go off the drug, because I can\'t afford to miss all the work I know I will. You\'re not supposed to take Effexor while pregnant. If I\'m unable to seccessfully wean off Effexor will I be unable to ever have children. People often accuse me of overreacting to the repercussions of this drug, but it\'s very serious. Effexor was supposed to help me deal with depression, but has actually lessened my quality of life significantly and indefinitely. I am very interested in a lawsuit regarding keeping withdrawal symptoms from consumers.
