As soon as I saw the words brain shivers while trying to find info on Effexor withdrawals, I didn\'t even need to look at the descriptions to understand what others were describing. This queer sensation has kept me on the medication longer than I wish because because once I go a certain length of time without them (my dose 150mg XR)36 - 48hrs, even when having pushed thru the \"dizziness\" it was this other \"brain/body electric shiver\" that forced me to keep on the medication. I want to \"clean\" out my system, assess my level of depression, and possibly clear the way for different medication or approach. Surely MRI or CAT scans can document this experience. I am wondering if they may be \"mini-seizures\". Since I am in Australia I would like to link up with locals but also need to monitor how those suffering in the US are getting along. My brain shivers are occuring about 1 a minute, so as you can imagine it\'s hard to type this.
