I have been on disability from work since 2/03 due to major withdrawal symptoms from Effexor. I was on it for almost 4 yrs. and was gradually tapered off. I am now only taking high doses of vitamins...C & E, Lecithin, B6 and BComplex. The dizziness, brain zaps, and all the other minor side effects have just about disappeared...now I\'m left with what my doctors are refering to as \"Withdrawal Emergent Dyskinesia\". My face-mouth-eyes/brows-neck/jaw jerk or spasm. Talking is very difficult...I have a pause/jerk between words. I am scheduled to see a Movement Disorder Specialist and will start Massage Therapy next week. (yea!) I can tell it is anxiety triggered but there are time when just laying in bed can start the \"jerking\". I am also experiencing some cognitive difficulties. Can\'t find the words and they usually come out with the wrong pronounciation. I have had several people tell me to contact a lawyer. I haven\'t found anything online yet regarding a class-action suit that is already filed. Please let me know if you have found anything.
