Graves disease/hyperthyroidism

I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism in early July with typical symptoms. Weight loss, increase metabolism (appetite, heart rate 120/min, bp 140 to 150 over 60 to 80, palpitations and tremor in the finger tips). I have been put on Atenolol to control the heart rate/bp, and anit thyroid medication (20 mg daily of Tapazole and Methimazole). This condition typically has a 30-40% chance of remission but can reoccur. I am interested in finding information regarding naturopathic options in controlling and curing this disease. Anyone who can steer me in that direction would be appreciated. I have an initial consultation set up with a local ND (In Toronto, Canada). Thank you Julian
