Ive neglected my teeth for years and I need to have several out, my kids needs come before mine and I dont have insurance so that is that. I too take antibiotics and the pain goes away, but ALWAYS comes back sooner or later. I really dont have any advice for you, tylenol is useless so is motrin, I basically put up with it, I swish my mouth with Ice water, that helps the pain for about 5 seconds (seriously) and the hot pain comes back, I want to rip my face off. many sleepless nights, and then it goes away for no apparent reason after a couple days. But the irony is, that sometimes, it wont hurt all day, and when I lay down to go to bed, THERE IT IS! So I feel your pain, if you can get it taken out, please do, take it from me. Good luck
