Posted by J.C. on 06/20/05 at 09:32 PMHi.I have an impacted wisdowm tooth[could only see the top of tooth] causing pain.I asked my dentist to remove my tooth beside my wisdowm tooth to make some room for my wisdowm tooth[i am 41 yrs old and i do not want to take the risk of removing a wisdowm tooth].My dentist told me i have an abcess under the wisdowm tooth and she told me to get a root canal on wisdowm tooth or the wisdowm removed and i must do it soon ,She refuse to tell that wisdowm tooth can push other teeth and cause pain.I can not see the abcess on the x-ray,she tell only her can see the abcess on the x-ray because she has 5 years of training.Is a bad abcess hard to see on x-ray?Please someone help
