Effects of Effexor

My husband was on Zoloft for years, he recently saw a different doctor who took him off and put him on 150mg of Effexor. At first he seemed fine and then he started acting strangely. I'm married to him 24 years and I noticed it as did our three grown children. He has become an ego maniac, acting more like 20 then 45. He use to love to spend time working around the yard and house and we did everything together. Now he could care less about the house and yard and he acts as if he doesn't want to be with me. I counted tonight how many times his legs jump at night-10 times in 2 or 3 minutes. I think the medicine is too strong. He doesn't see it and says it's the best he's felt in years. Has anyone noticed this type of personality change in someone they know. Thanks, Cindy
