My husband has high cholesterol and we've done a bit of reading on the subject. From what we've read so far, we've concluded that while meats do have cholesterol, eliminating them completely will not always solve the problem. Some of the foods that are supposed to lower cholesterol include oats, walnuts, extra virgin olive oil, fatty fish (i.e. salmon), and avocados. There are a lot of books available that deal with the subject. Good Luck!
