Posted by Ron on 08/08/04 at 03:18 PMI was diagnosed with Brights Disease at age 7. That was 1957, and I missed a entire year of school while hospitalized most of the time. I was passing blood and very weak during that time. I am now told that I was sent home to die as my kidneys were failing and there was no hope for me. Suddenly I pulled out of it and returned to normal. I now have Polymyositis and a burning skin rash covering most of my body. I have long wondered if any of this is related to Brights and was amazed to find your post.
