I had brights disease when I was a child 5 or 6 years old, that was 40 years ago. I remember being in the hospital and watching 3 seasons go by through the hospital windows. I have never really thought about the disease until recently. Now that I am getting older I am starting to wonder if the disease could come back or if there is something that could have been effective in my body back then that I should know about now. Any of I of the doctors that I have ever seen always ask about it when I list the disease on the questioner when signing in, however, none of them to this day know anything about the disease. I learned about three years ago after many years of seeking a doctor for a skin condition that I have Discord Lumpus. Its rather strange...I was always naturally olive in color until I had a baby. After giving birth, if I was in the sun for any amount of time I would get a rash that looked like goose bumps all over my neck, legs and arms. Later it become more of a problem in my arms with extreme pain, like buring and itcning all the way to the bone, keeping me from sleeping. Any Brights Disease patients our there that suffer from skin problems?
